The cooking club launched at KRESTOVSKY this year has grown exponentially and we have gone on many more tasty adventures since then. We started off with some easy recipes. The first week the children made vegetarian worship and boy was it tasty! The following week the children made some simple sugar cookies and enjoyed the process. They also got to eat all their yummy cookies, which was most definitely the best part . Getting kitchen literate has proved to be a lot of fun.
We have a full schedule in place with lots of exciting recipes that are designed to make the children think about health and being more independent. The recipes are simple enough that the children can do them at home too and treat their families. Safety was thought about when planning the club so most of the recipes are no-bake or we have the kitchen staff assist us with dealing with the ovens.
